Large Deliveries

Handling Large Deliveries at Bridge

Got a new sofa or a dining table on the way? We want to make sure your new furniture makes it to your suite without a hitch. Depending on the size of your delivery, here is how to handle the logistics.

Single Item Deliveries

  • If you are expecting single item (like just a couch or one mattress), there is no need to book a formal elevator window.
  • How it works: Your delivery crew can use the elevators as they are, without them being locked off for service.
  • The Golden Rule: Please be mindful of your neighbours! Ensure the delivery team doesn't block the elevator doors open for extended periods.

🚛 Multiple Items or Large Shipments

If you are receiving more than one large item (for example, a full bedroom set or a multi-piece sectional), an elevator booking may be required to ensure you have dedicated access and don't tie up the lobby.

  • Coordinate Early: Please check in with the Concierge at least the day before or the morning of your expected delivery.
  • Availability: They will let you know if the service elevator is free or if there are already moves happening that might delay your delivery crew.

💡 Pro-Tips for Deliveries

  • Measurement Check: Before the truck arrives, double-check the dimensions of your hallways and doorways! It’s better to know a sofa won't fit before the delivery team starts the heavy lifting.
  • Protect Your Floors: If the delivery team doesn't provide floor runners, consider laying down some cardboard or a rug to protect your suite’s flooring during the install.
